Weekly Staff Report
January 7-11th

*Finances: total in accounts $2,552.33

Expenses: $872.14 payroll/benefits/cost for payroll service, $280 to
Paul Lachelier for his fundraising work - follow up of Fall Appeal 20%
cut of what he brought in, and $58.64 general office supplies).

Income: $265

*Numbers:
#Members: 855, though over 400 are lapsed (have tried to be more
methodical about membership renewals, in fact with my work load wasn't
sending out notices for membership renewals regularly.  Only notified
people via the newsletter which wasn't very effective.)  

Did send out membership renewal notices in Nov, Dec...and will do it
soon for Jan.  The notices have been effective, just have to be more
methodical about doing it monthly. Could use some help in outreach to
people who have not renewed despite multiple notices... I realize I need
to make renewal notices a priority and will, in the past being part time
didn't leave such time...but now with 35/hrs a week there should be no problem.

Monthly Sustainers: currently have 26, @ $357.5 a month.

*Work Summary:
-email update Monday
-spent lots of time reconciling our accounts, matching up online
contributions with our wire transfers and preparing for year end reports
-meet with a bookkeeper that comes in quarterly to assist me
-did some database updates
-staff report for state committee
-spent most of Thursday dealing with FEC filing
-spent most of Friday preparing for adcom/statecom meeting Sat.12th
-and of course the usual, phone/email, post office, deposit $...

*Need from Adcom/StateCom:
-help with fundraising: specifically outreach for more monthly
sustainers, high donors, and memberships in general
-help with the newsletter
